Please join us in welcoming Teresa Gilbert as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. She has been a part of the Rangely community since 2019, having moved here with her family when her husband accepted a position with the county. Originally from Grand Junction, Teresa also spent many of her formative years in Phoenix, Arizona. Teresa brings a diverse professional background to the district, including experience as a radiologic technologist, medical assistant, children’s shelter caregiver, office manager in the oil and gas industry, and even a familiar face at Maverik. Most recently, she began working at the school’s front desk, where she quickly discovered a love for the school environment, especially the kids and the sense of community among staff. A proud mom of five children (ages 9 to 26), Teresa stays busy at work and at home. She enjoys reading, participating in a local book club, paddle boarding, and spending time with her many pets—including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, a turtle, and even a snake! A former foreign exchange student in Germany, she loves travel and dreams of visiting the beach or seeing the Northern Lights from a glass-roofed igloo. Teresa is most excited to grow professionally, take on new responsibilities, and contribute positively to the district in her new role. She values clear communication, being part of a team, and doing things right the first time. One of her favorite quotes is, "Happiness isn’t getting what you want, but wanting what you have." We’re thrilled to have Teresa on board! . #rangelyschooldistrict #RangelyPanthers #RangelyColorado

Today, Parkview celebrated our students’ incredible efforts on their Spring MAPS testing with a fun and unique reward — Tattoo the Teacher! For every growth point they achieved, students earned a tattoo to place on themselves, their friends, teachers, staff, or special guest Officer Kilduff. It was a fun way to recognize all their hard work and celebrate their academic growth. Way to go, Parkview students! . #rangelyschooldistrict #RangelyPanthers #RangelyColorado

Today, our second graders hosted their annual Mini-Society Market for family and friends, and it was a huge success! Students have been busy learning all about economics by building their own society, taking on jobs, earning “money,” and designing creative products to sell. This hands-on experience is a favorite every year, and it’s easy to see why! Great job, second graders! . #rangelyschooldistrict #RangelyPanthers #RangelyColorado
