On Thursday, October 24, the Rangely Community Gardens brought the pumpkin patch to the preschool students. They set up a little pumpkin patch and photo backdrop in the playground. Each student was able to pick a pumpkin and take it home. They even brought a special snack for all the students to enjoy. Thank you to Carrie Fouch and all those at the community gardens who made this possible and so special for our preschoolers.

While the first graders were off visiting the Bluebell Corn Maze, kindergarten and second through fifth-grade students visited the Rangely Community Gardens and picked out a pumpkin to take home. Thank you to Janet Miller, Diane Sizemore, and W.C. Striegel for making this available for our students.
This afternoon, after pumpkin picking, high school ag students helped the kindergarteners carve their pumpkins.

On Monday, October 21, the fourth-grade students visited Ms. Hernandez’s first-grade classroom to join them for skittle science.
Join us in the gym today, Saturday, October 5, to cheer on the Lady Panthers as they take on the Coal Ridge Titans. The games will begin at 11:00 a.m.
While watching, don’t forget to grab a snack at the concession stand and support the junior class. Did you know the concession stand can accept cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay?

During the summer, when Kum & Go was transitioning over, Alli, the manager, donated the pizza press and supplies to the Rangely High School Family and Consumer Science Class. Today, students were able to use the items to make homemade pizza.

It’s Panther Homecoming Game Day! 🐾
Come down to Main Street for the homecoming parade at 1:00 PM. While on Main Street, check out the windows the students have worked hard painting all week. (True Vaule, Napa, Ducey’s, Colorado CPA)
Volleyball games will start at 3:00 PM, with the C team playing first.
Football will kick off at 7:00 PM.
The junior class will be selling a Frito pie meal deal at concessions. It includes dinner, dessert, and water for $6.

The field is prepared for tomorrow night’s 2024 Panther Homecoming Football Game! Junior Mathew Morgan took drone pictures of the field. Matthew, along with nine other high school students, learned to fly drones at a camp sponsored by the high school at CSU in Fort Collins. As part of a grant, the school district now has two drones. Thank you, Jeremy Lohry, Erin LeBleu, Lexi LeBleu, and Kaitlyn Cox, for painting the R on midfield.
On Saturday, September 21, the Meeker Softball Team hosts Cedaridge for a doubleheader with games at 11:00 a.m. And 1:00 p.m. at Paintbrush Park in Meeker. Join Rangely Seniors Ashlynn Ducey, Jade Miller, Miah Wren, and Miley Chism for Senior Day.
Leave the cooking up to someone else tonight. Join the sophomores TONIGHT, Thursday, September 19, at 5:00 PM at the Rec center for dinner. After dinner, walk across the parking lot for the homecoming pep rally and bonfire.
On Wednesday, third grader Kinzlie dressed like a librarian for Dress Like a Grown-up Day. When her class went to the library, she took her role seriously and read "The Pigeon Has to Go to School" to her class.
After the story, students colored their pigeons to represent Panther Homecoming.
