The field is prepared for tomorrow night’s 2024 Panther Homecoming Football Game! Junior Mathew Morgan took drone pictures of the field. Matthew, along with nine other high school students, learned to fly drones at a camp sponsored by the high school at CSU in Fort Collins. As part of a grant, the school district now has two drones. On September 11, Rangely Junior/Senior High School was placed on a short hold shortly after school began. This is part of the standard response protocol we use as part of the "I love you guys.” In this situation, we had an emergency medical situation that seemed most appropriate for students to stay in their classrooms while emergency personnel transported a school employee to a vehicle for further treatment. At no time was anyone at risk. However, we did our best to protect the kids.

In the second week of August, high school band students participated in a band camp hosted by Rangely Junior/Senior High Band Teacher Mr. Solis. Shout-out to clarinet player Freshman Faith Prieto for not missing one day. “Faith was always on time and ready to work. Her clarinet and marching skills skyrocketed in the few days of camp. Her happy and go-to attitude will make her a pivotal member of our ensemble this coming year.” -Mr. Solis Words from Faith Fun Fact: I like the color green and hope to improve my high notes (on clarinet). “Camp has helped teach me something valuable: marching and playing fundamentals for the year. It is fun to play an instrument! Great Job Faith!
