One of the best parts of summer is almost here! ☀️ 📚
The Rangely Regional Library’s summer Reading Program kicks off Thursday, May 22!
Start the summer off right—grab the kids after their last day of school and head to the library to sign up for a summer full of stories and fun.
To get everyone excited, the fabulous Ms. Rita (always dressed to impress!) visited the elementary students today to share a few delightful stories.
The Summer Reading Program is open to everyone—ages 0 to 100—because you’re never too old to enjoy a good book!
Remember: Storytime is every Tuesday at 10:00 AM, along with their weekly candy guessing game.

Parkview Elementary May Students of the Month ✏
This month's students were chosen based on their persistence characteristics.

Ms. Hernandez’s first grade class wrapped up their time unit today with a fun and active learning experience in the gym! What a great way to bring lessons to life!

A huge shoutout to Landon Stewart, Jacob Savage, and Cooper Fielder for their incredible creativity and hard work on this piece of recycled pallet art!

Parkview students who returned all their library books were treated to a fun Root Beer Float Party as a thank-you for being responsible readers!
If your student still has a book checked out, please return it as soon as possible. If a book has been lost or damaged, you can either pay the replacement cost or provide another copy in good condition—it doesn’t have to be brand new.
Questions? Contact Ms. Ashley at Ashley.Sanford@rangelyk12.org.
Keep the love of reading going all summer long! Students are encouraged to read books from home or the public library.

This week, seventh-grade students took an exciting interdisciplinary trip to Moab, Utah, combining physical education and science learning.
They hiked through Grandstaff Canyon to see the stunning Rainbow Bridge and made their way to the iconic Corona Arch—all while putting their Leave No Trace principles into practice.
As part of their science studies on ecosystems, this adventure gave students a hands-on opportunity to observe and explore the natural world in a truly unforgettable setting.

Parkview students made a difference this April!
Throughout the month, students collected coins to support our sister school in Ghana, helping provide much-needed resources for both students and teachers. We’re excited to share that a total of $346.51 was raised!
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who contributed—your generosity is making a global impact.
Due to weather and road conditions, the high school basketball games scheduled to be played in West Grand, Saturday, February 15, have been canceled for today and will be rescheduled.
