The Rangely School District RE-4 Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Audra M. Lane as the next Superintendent of Rangely School District. The announcement was made during a special meeting of the Board of Education this morning. The Board has extended Mrs. Lane a three-year contract and looks forward to welcoming her to the Rangely community.

The Board would like to sincerely thank the many staff members, students, parents, and community members who participated in the superintendent search process. Your engagement, feedback, and support were an important part of this process and helped guide the Board in making this decision.

Mrs. Lane currently serves as the Superintendent of DeBeque School District 49JT and brings extensive leadership experience in Colorado schools.

Mrs. Lane and her husband are excited about becoming part of a rural community that values the outdoors, strong schools, and the importance of education. The Board believes she will be a strong fit for Rangely and looks forward to working with her as she leads the district into the future.
