Following last night’s Board of Education meeting, one of the two selected finalists has withdrawn from the process. Mrs. Audra M. Lane remains the sole finalist at this time.
To ensure a robust and competitive search, the Board has scheduled a Special Meeting for Thursday, February 19, 2026, to review the applicant pool and consider naming additional finalists.

Mrs. Lane currently serves as the Superintendent of De Beque School District 49JT. Her leadership experience in Colorado education includes:
