AED

We are pleased to share an update on Automated External Defibrillators across the district.

The district has installed ten new AEDs, including two portable units. These AEDs are the same model used by our local hospital, helping ensure familiarity and reliability in an emergency situation.

The AEDs have been placed throughout our school buildings and facilities, including new units in the weight room and the bus garage, to improve access during activities and daily operations.

A key feature of these AEDs is that they use a single set of pads, which allows for quick use without needing to differentiate between adult and child pads.

The district will also be providing updated First Aid and CPR/AED training to ensure staff are prepared and confident in responding to emergencies.

Student and staff safety remains a top priority, and we appreciate the continued support of our community as we work to maintain safe learning and working environments.
