Pole Vault

Last Saturday at the Rangely Panther Invitational, we celebrated the debut of our new pole vault pit and runway. This is the first time in over 30 years we have been able to have this event! A huge thank you to Mr. Dunleavy of Utah Gas for his generous $20,000 donation, and to all businesses and individuals who supported this project. Additional thanks to Chevron Pipeline for their $2,500 contribution, and to Scott and Melissa Dembowski, along with Hank and Julie Allred, who donated hogs for a raffle that raised nearly $5,000.

Our community showed incredible support, including Jeff and Kirsten Fielder, Bart and Sarah Nielsen, Kyle and J’lyn Wren, Matt and Beth Scoggins, Kevin and Tami Williams, Shawn and Misty Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Diana Sizemore, Joel Hogan, Bill Hume, Dominic Compoz, Ralph Carabajal, Rangely True Value, Rangely District Hospital Board, WC Striegel, Urie Trucking, Urie Rock, Duco Well Service, Prime, Prime Well Service, and Wild West Meats.

This collective effort has expanded our program and enabled us to host more teams. Special shoutout to our pole vaulters making waves: Jordan Irwin and Miah Wren, both ranked 6th in the state, and Kastyn Dembowski ranked 14th. Go, Panthers!
